I am a small hobby breeder in Central North Carolina.  My dogs live in my home, and are loved family pets.  I acquired my first Standard Poodle in 1990 and I showed him to his American and Canadian championship myself.  I also showed many subsequent generations.  I am not currently active in the breed ring, but have lots of fun with the dogs.  Other owners of Wildgayle Poodles have been very successful in these areas:  Obedience/Rally, Hunt activities, Agility, Therapy Dog, and Flyball,  to name a few,  Just well rounded individuals..

My breeding's are limited, about one litter a year. I breed with the goal of producing puppies with outstanding temperaments, with both soundness of body and mind, while still adhering to the AKC breed standard.  I currently breed black Standard Poodles.

For optimum health and longevity, I feed a natural raw diet, that is free of preservatives and grain products, as these can contribute to cancer, auto-immune disorders, and arthritis.  We avoid vaccinations (with the exception of vaccines required by law), and the use of pesticides, such as flea and worm preventatives.  We have been raising Standard Poodles naturally for 19 years.

Our puppies are raised in our home, where they are exposed to household sights and sounds.  Socialization is important for puppies to become sound and centered adults.  Our puppies are exposed to many different surfaces, and have interaction with many different people, both tall and small.  We perform Biosensor exercises during the first 2 weeks, in an effort to make the puppies temperamentally sound individuals, and high achievers.

Thank you for visiting Wildgayle Standard Poodles.  Please feel free to stay and visit with our dogs!!
